Kitale Bus park Be Temporarily closed
Trans Nzoia County Governor H.E George Natembeya issued a decree that the Kitale Bus Park be temporarily closed to allow for management restructuring before resuming operations on Friday. This comes after two opposing groups claiming leadership clashed on Tuesday morning, disrupting traffic and business operations. Governor Natembeya blamed hooligans on some elected leaders, but vowed to deal with those inciting disruption and violence. Businesses around the bus stop were forced to close due to fears of looting and destruction.
